The Sorvall Legend X1R tabletop refrigerated centrifuge is compatible with a wide range of rotors and adapters, making it a great choice for both clinical and research environments looking for a durable centrifuge to fill their separation needs. The display shows both set and actually parameters and allows users to easily adjust speed, time and temperature, even during a run. A double temperature management system displays the air temp in the chamber along with the sample temperature. The AutoLock III rotor system allows for easy push button installation and exchange of rotors. (Rotors sold separately – call for pricing and availability.)

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
