Thermo TSX-Series – Features

No need to worry about where your samples are stored within the freezer.  With peak variation less than 5°C, your samples are protected and safely stored throughout the entire cabinet space.

The Thermo Scientific TSX50086A has a long warm-up time from -50°C to -80°C at 5.05 hours and is quiet enough to reside directly in the laboratory, rather than in the hall. At just 45.5 dBA, the TSX Series’ sound level is comparable to a home refrigerator.

Thermo TSX’s V-drive adaptive control is designed to detect usage patterns such as door openings when a higher compressor speed is needed and periods of stability where the compressor runs at a lower speed, saving energy without compromising protection. The Thermo  TSX50086A consumes 11.4 kW-H/day in standard mode and just 8.7 kW-H/day in high-performance mode.

Our technicians verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts of all freezers, making sure that the units hold temperature to within the manufacturer specified tolerance. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and if needed replace refrigerant. We clean all freezers thoroughly prior to shipment.
