The Savant DNA110 SpeedVac concentrator is a centrifugal concentration system for drying low-volume ethanol or isopropanol precipitates of DNA and RNA, as well as PRC preps, synthetic oligos and nucleic acids. The Savant DNA 110 has a built-in oil free PTFE vacuum pump. Three drying rates are available at temperatures of ambient, 43°C, and 65°C. The chamber of the Savant DNA 110 is also PTFE coated to resist chemicals. A clear acrylic lid allows users to view in-process samples while still providing using protection.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.
