4E's USA – Micro Volume Spectrophotometer (UV-VIS) C-3100 - NEW
The 4E’s USA Micro Volume Spectrophotometer NanoC-3100 features a built-in 7-inch color touch screen, allowing full functionality without a computer connection. Its intuitive user interface simplifies operation, while the compact design conserves valuable laboratory space. This spectrophotometer is widely used in molecular biology applications, including DNA, RNA, and protein detection, making it an essential tool for accurate and efficient analysis.
The 4E’s USA NanoC-3100 is a micro-volume UV-Vis spectrophotometer capable of measuring absorbance across the entire wavelength range of 185-910 nm. It supports both pedestal measurement for small-volume samples and traditional cuvette measurement for enhanced versatility. In pedestal mode, it accurately measures 0.5-2 μL samples with high reproducibility. The sample retention system, which utilizes surface tension to hold samples between optical fibers, allows analysis of highly concentrated samples without dilution.
Using advanced technology, this spectrophotometer measures concentrations up to 200 times higher than standard spectrophotometers. Real-time liquid height adjustments between optical fibers ensure precise data collection. For low-concentration, highly volatile, or low-surface-tension samples that struggle to form a liquid bridge, the cuvette measurement option provides a reliable alternative. The device performs self-testing upon startup, eliminating the need for preheating and ensuring immediate usability.
The 4E’s USA Micro Volume Spectrophotometer (UV-Vis) C-3100 features a wide detection range, with a minimum detection path length of 0.03 mm. It can measure DNA concentrations as high as 27,500 ng/μL and as low as 0.2 ng/μL. Designed for accuracy, it provides stable and reliable detection for both low and ultra-high concentrations. The large, high-resolution touch screen enhances usability with an intuitive interface for easy data analysis. Additionally, an illuminated test area flashes to indicate different testing stages, improving workflow efficiency.

Yes, all equipment from American Instrument Exchange comes with a warranty.
Used/reconditioned/refurbished equipment is tested to make sure it operates to the manufacturer's specifications and comes with a 90-day warranty (unless otherwise noted). New equipment comes with a warranty from the manufacturer.
Testing requirements vary across all the equipment categories we sell. Temperature controlled units are tested with NIST traceable probes and data loggers. Gaskets, external housing, glass, handles, controls and control screens are all thoroughly inspected for integrity and functionality.
We test all equipment using the manufacturer's parameters and specifications to confirm that the unit operates properly.
We can ship products both nationally and internationally using a well-established network of transporters. Smaller items will ship via UPS. Larger equipment will be palletized and shipped either LTL or air-ride, depending on the specific equipment and/or delivery requirements.
American Instrument Exchange will accept the return of any product that is not working as represented and could not be replaced or repaired to the customer's satisfaction during the warranty period. Customers who cancel orders after refurbishing has begun will be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee of between 20% and 40%.
