The Safeaire bench fume hood features a frameless vertical rising sash with laminated safety glass, a three-position, remote, adjustable baffle to control the airflow patterns through the hood; a polyresin interior which has high illumination, cleans with ease, strength, and high resistance to chemicals; a unique contoured rectangular exhaust collar that allows for more vertical space above the hood, reduces noise levels, and conserves energy by maintaining lower static pressure; gasketed access panels on both sides; exterior fluorescent lighting located safely away from harmful fumes and vapors; and a louvered bypass that provides an additional source of exhaust air when the sash is lowered, helping to maintain consistent face velocities.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians inspect all fume hoods to make sure that the baffles are present and intact, the interior lights are functioning, and that the sash is intact and runs smoothly on the tracks along with the counterweights. We can also provide information on the fixtures installed on each hood. Please note that we do not provide blower motors with fume hood sales. For more information on blower motor selection please feel free to call or email us; we recommend speaking with an HVAC specialist regarding your particular motor needs.

We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit.
