The Beckman Allegra 6KR provides large volume performance in a unit that is much more compact than a traditional floor model centrifuge. At just over two feet tall, this centrifuge is small enough to store underneath a lab bench when not in use. The Allegra 6KR features Beckman’s Automatic Rotor Imbalance Equilibrium System (ARIES) and can automatically identify and correct rotor imbalance of up to 50g. Depending on rotor selection, the Beckman Allegra 6KR can swing a wide variety of tubes, bottles, plates, and blood bags. This centrifuge features a simple user interface with analog controls with a digital display.

This Beckman Allegra 6KR is being sold with a 4 x 750ml swinging bucket rotor (either a GH-3.7 or 3.8 model rotor).

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
