The Pico System Plus Systems Hydro Model 17012 is a versatile freshwater pump from the Picosystem series. Its purpose is to deliver ASTM/CAP Type I water by employing a multi-stage purification process. 

The system begins with prefiltration, where water passes through a 0.2-micron filter cartridge. This stage effectively removes larger particles and contaminants. Next, the water flows through an activated carbon canister. Activated carbon has excellent adsorption properties, effectively capturing organic impurities, chlorine, and other chemicals.

The heart of the system lies in its mixed-bed deionizers. These two units work together to remove both cations (positively charged ions like calcium, magnesium, and sodium) and anions (negatively charged ions like chloride, sulfate, and bicarbonate). The result is highly purified water suitable for various applications.

This pump is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
