2’ Labconco Xpert – Features

Since HEPA filtered air is returned to the laboratory, these vented balance enclosures offer the added benefit of low installation costs and require no ducting to the outside. Interior dimensions accommodate large micro and analytical balances. Containment-enhancing features ensure that potent powders frequently found in pharmaceutical, dry chemical, mold and asbestos weighing operations are kept away from the operator.

The 2' Labconco Xpert Filtered Balance System delivers a comprehensive range of features designed to ensure safety, efficiency, and ease of use in laboratory settings. It includes an ergonomic air foil with aerodynamic Clean-Sweep airflow openings for enhanced airflow performance. To ensure high filtration efficiency, the system is equipped with an exhaust HEPA filter that captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.

For safe and convenient filter disposal, it features a true bag-in/bag-out system. A built-in blower with a dynamically-balanced, vibration-isolated motorized impeller ensures reliable operation, while the intrinsically safe negative pressure design enhances containment. The Minihelic pressure gauge provides easy monitoring, and an upper diffuser screen optimizes airflow distribution.

With quiet operation ranging from 48-66 db(A) depending on airflow, the system supports a comfortable working environment. Pre-wired fluorescent lighting and switches for the blower and light simplify operation. Its robust 1/4" thick tempered safety glass front sash and sides offer durability, while the ergonomic 10-degree angled sash pivots upward, locks for loading, and features a wiping seal for effective contaminant containment.

Additionally, two utility ports enhance versatility for various applications.
