Eppendorf 5804 Centrifuge – Features
The Eppendorf 5804 centrifuge features a compact frame and small footprint, making it ideal for almost any lab. This design saves valuable bench space and ensures easy placement. Its low lid opening height and angle further enhance usability, especially under shelves. Additionally, its short front-to-back depth and light weight make it suitable for standard laboratory benches.
The A-2-DWR plate rotor allows centrifugation of various plates, including MTP, PCR, cell culture, and Deepwell Plates. This versatility adds to the centrifuge's functionality in multipurpose lab applications.
5804 Centrifuge w/ Microplate Rotor- Testing
This reconditioned Eppendorf 5804 is thoroughly tested by our technicians. They ensure the rotating assembly is balanced, and check that the bearings, seals, and gaskets on the spindle are in good condition. Additionally, they verify that all controls function correctly. Both the exterior and interior are fully cleaned, and tolerances are carefully measured.
If the unit includes a rotor, we test the rotor and centrifuge together. Our technicians inspect all rotors, including buckets, gaskets, and overspeed disks. Fixed-angle rotors are examined for integrity, while swinging bucket rotors are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible, we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to confirm smooth operation.
