The Fisherbrand Bead Mill 24 is designed for grinding, lysing, and homogenizing biological samples prior to molecular extraction. It allows you to simultaneously homogenize up to 24 x 2 mL or 0.5 mL tubes. The Bead Mill 24’s unique tube carriage motion coupled with sample specific bead beating materials ensure that a thorough homogenate is achieved regardless of sample type. The high lysing efficiency of the Bead Mill 24 results in an increase in nucleic acid, protein and small molecule yields and increases the sensitivity of the downstream assay.

The Bead Mill 24 features a convenient front-loading tube holder position for ease of use and optimal bead/sample interactions; a processing range that is ideal for soft tissue samples; no cool-down required between runs (non-stop processing); the use of disposable tubes that ensures no threat of cross-contamination; it has no sample degradation due to quick processing; and a smaller footprint to maximize bench space.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
