The Brinkman/Retsch RMO Mortar Grinder is suitable for grinding, mixing, and triturating various substances, making it versatile for different scientific and industrial purposes. It serves as a substitute for cumbersome hand mortars, offering high performance with electronic control. The grinder ensures proper and reproducible sample preparation to analytical fineness. The grinding set can be cooled or heated as needed, allowing flexibility in sample preparation.

The RMO Mortar Grinder accommodates various grinding tasks by allowing the exchange of grinding sets made from different material qualities. These materials include hardened steel, stainless steel, tungsten carbide, agate, sintered aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, and hard porcelain.

The grinder operates at a pestle speed of 100 rpm. Both pestle and scraper pressure are adjustable, ensuring reproducible results. The grinder can handle batch sizes ranging from 10 to 190 ml.

This mortar grinder is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
