Thermo Forma FDE Series ultralow freezers differ from their TSX Series counterparts in that the TSX Series focuses more on energy efficiency and quiet operation, while the Forma FDE Series emphasizes sustainable performance and user-friendly features.

The FDE60086FA is energy efficient, requiring only 11.5 kWh/day to store up to 600 two-inch cryoboxes. Additionally, the quiet operation (53 dBA) provides welcome relief from the louder compressor operation of comparably sized models.

Advanced security features, and a built-in USB port that allows for quick data download for system diagnostics and analysis.

The FDE Series ultralow freezers feature the H-drive Information Center (HIC) that combines easy to read temperature with simple capacitive touch buttons in a 5.6-inch display. Powered by H-drive's hydrocarbon technology, these systems save up to 25% in energy usage and heat rejection over conventional refrigerant ultra-low freezers.

Testing

This Thermo Forma FDE Series Ultralow Freezer is used and reconditioned. Our technicians verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts of all ultralow freezers, making sure that the units hold temperature to within the manufacturer specified tolerance. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and if needed replace refrigerant. We clean all freezers thoroughly prior to shipment.
