This Beckman Allegra X-30 Benchtop Centrifuge, IVD can be used in a general research environment or in clinical sample preparation. It provides excellent performance and easy operation in a compact design that saves valuable time and laboratory space with the highest speed and g-force in its class (1.6L max capacity, 18,000 RPM, 29,756 x g).

The S6069 swinging bucket microplate rotor is used for the serial dilution of small liquid volumes. It can hold 2 stacks of 3 microplates, and spins at a maximum of 4,700 rpm.

The Sx4400 swinging bucket rotor rapidly sediments protein precipitates, large particles, cells, and cell debris. Can also be used for blood sample preparation. It has 4 x 400 mL buckets and spins at a maximum of 4,700 rpm.

Testing

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly.

We also test refrigeration to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. We measure all tolerances and fully clean the exterior and interior of all units. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor, we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
