Eppendorf 5301 vacufuge centrifugal concentrator

  • Speed range up to 1,400 rpm
  • 96 x 2mL capacity
  • 90 day warranty

The Eppendorf 5301 concentrator is designed for the evaporation of liquid samples in micro test tubes. This unit applies heat and/or vacuum to evaporate the solvent while the centrifugal action prevents bumping and foaming. The Eppendorf 5301 has three functions to perform liquid extractions: pure evacuation, aqueous solution evaporation, or alcoholic solution evaporation. The Eppendorf 5301 can also be operated as a desiccator only. Paired with a chemical resistant pump and a solvent trap, the Eppedorf 5301 can be used for a variety of applications. Three temperature levels can be set: 30C, 45C, or 60C, or the machine can run at ambient temperature.

All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. If the centrifuge is refrigerated we also test to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. Fixed angle rotors are closely inspected for body integrity; swinging bucket rotors supplied with buckets are checked for proper weight distribution. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.

The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
