The 4E’s USA Micro volume spectrophotometer (UV-Vis) with built-in 7-inch color touch screen, can accomplish all detection functions without connecting to a computer. The device comes with an intuitive user interface, and the compact design saves valuable laboratory space. The device has wide application in molecular biological experiments, such as DNA, RNA, protein detection.

The 4E’s USA NanoC-3100 is a micro-volume UV-Vis Spectrophotometer for measuring the absorbance of entire wavelength (185-910nm). It accesses both pedestal measurement for small volume sample and the traditional cuvette measurement. In pedestal measurement, the instrument can measure 0.5-2μL samples with high accuracy and reproducibility. The sample retention system employs surface tension to hold the sample in the place between two optical fibers. This enables the measurement of very highly concentrated samples without the need for dilutions.

Using this technology, Micro-volume Spectrophotometer has the capability to measure sample concentration up to 200 times higher than the samples measured by a common spectrophotometer. Height of liquid between optical fibers can be adjusted in real-time way to get more precise data.

For samples with low concentration, high volatile and low surface tension which are hard to form liquid bridge, cuvette measurement is recommended. When powered on, it runs the self-testing. There is no need to preheat before measuring. All operations are simple and convenient.
