Nuaire LabGard NU-425-400 Features

The Nuaire LabGard NU-425-400 operates as a Class II Type A2 biosafety cabinet. Specifically, it manages airflow by exhausting 30% of the air while recirculating 70% at a 100 FPM intake. Therefore, you can either recirculate the air into the room or exhaust it outdoors through a separately sold canopy exhaust connection; please call or email us for availability.

In addition, this model comes equipped with fluorescent lighting, a Magnehelic gauge, internal electrical outlets, and vacuum and gas valves. Notably, all controls are conveniently mounted in an integrated control module at eye level, while the large work opening allows easy access to the work zone, all while maintaining effective particulate control.

Moreover, the Nuaire NU-425-400 offers enhanced visibility and reach with Class II Type A2 bio-hazard containment. It achieves this through a 100 LFPM air barrier, along with uni-directional laminar airflow that minimizes air turbulence and cross-contamination.

Furthermore, the HEPEX plenum inflates to deliver quiet, uniform air without transferring vibration. Importantly, the design incorporates positive pressure chambers and ducts surrounded by negative pressure, effectively eliminating potential leaks.

Testing and Certification

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test each bio safety cabinet to ensure that the controls and blower motor work properly. All bio safety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment. (Unless otherwise specified)

Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a bio safety cabinet certification in order to ensure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.
