Fisher Isotemp 285A Vacuum Oven

The Fisher Isotemp 285A vacuum oven is ideal for general drying, vacuum embedding, moisture testing, curing, conditioning and desiccating. It is designed for use with inert atmospheres such as nitrogen or helium. Temperature ranges from 10°C above ambient to 200°C.

Fisher Isotemp 285A features

The Fisher 285A features an analog vacuum gauge on top and a power indicator on the front; a hydraulic thermostat controls the temperature; and a large glass panel on the front door and a stainless-steel chamber make viewing the inside of the machine easy.

Testing

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test ovens using a calibrated digital chart recorder to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts and run the unit under vacuum to ensure chamber integrity.

Additionally, we typically leave an oven under vacuum for 24 hours to make sure the pressure holds. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
