Stainless Steel Perchloric Acid Laboratory Hoods are designed specifically for procedures involving the use of perchloric acid. They feature washdown systems, integral work surfaces and drainage troughs so that they may be thoroughly rinsed after each use to prevent the accumulation of potentially reactive perchloric salts.

These benchtop hoods feature a corrosion-resistant Type 316 stainless steel interior to withstand reaction from perchloric acid, one electrical duplex outlet, 2 service fixtures, and T8 fluorescent lighting. The one-piece liner is free of joints, cracks, or crevices to prevent build-up of residue and simplify decontamination procedures.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians inspect all fume hoods to make sure that the baffles are present and intact, the interior lights are functioning, and that the sash is intact and runs smoothly on the tracks along with the counterweights. We can also provide information on the fixtures installed on each hood. Please note that we do not provide blower motors with fume hood sales.
