Caron model 6010 environmental test chamber
The Caron 6010 Environmental Test Chamber provides precise control of temperature and humidity for reliable and repeatable results for numerous applications including: product shelf life, stability and package testing, temperature evaluation studies, electronic component burn-in and other applications. The Caron 6010 chamber utilizes environmentally friendly HFC refrigerant and CFC-Free insulation, and is designed to meet NEC, UL and CSA standards for safety and performance. Heating the chamber is achieved by duct heaters, and cooling is achieved by a direct expansion/vapor compression refrigeration heat exchanger mounted in the duct. This combined with a horizontal airflow pattern creates better air uniformity and temperature control. This Caron unit also features a bi-modal humidification system allowing for independent humidification and dehumidification and provides control over both the humidity injection system and the dehumidification system. All of this permits the chamber to respond faster as well as controlling the chamber more efficiently at a constant relative humidity.
