Item 1971C DNA - Amaxa Nucleofector II
Amaxa Nucleofector II
The Nucleofector Technology offers high flexibility with respect to applications, since the same transfection parameters apply for any nucleic acid substrate used. DNA vectors and RNA can be transfected using transfection protocols. It is the ideal tool to help you answer the scientific questions in your day-today applications such as over-expression studies, gene silencing approaches, protein expression, generation of stable clones and many more.
With over 100 protocols for cell lines optimized by Lonza’s R&D team, more than 500 entries in the online cell data base and almost 50 Nucleofector Kits for different primary cells, the Nucleofector Technology is clearly the transfection method of choice for virtually any difficult-to-transfect cell type.
The Amaxa Nucleofector allows users rapid and reliable transfection of primary cells by selecting the cell type-specific Nucleofector Kit (sold separately) and Amaxa Optimized Protocol for accelerated startup and deliver your substrate straight to the nuclei of even non-dividing primary cells. Additionally, this system features up to 99% transfection efficiency with the unparalleled viability and unaltered functionality that make for truly informative assay as well as 20 μl transfection volumes in 96-well format and specialized Small Cell Number (SCN) Nucleofector® Kits maximize savings by allowing as few as 1.5 x 104 cells and 200 ng DNA per transfection.
All of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run. If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
The photos above are representative. Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we're unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
